1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using findmyinstaller.co.uk (“the Site”), you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use the Site.

2. Description of Service

Find My Installer is an independent informational directory of renewable energy installers in the United Kingdom. The Site allows users to:

  • Search and compare solar panel, heat pump, battery storage and EV charging installers
  • View information about available grants and funding schemes
  • Submit enquiries to installers via the contact form

The Site is not an installation company and does not provide installation services directly.

3. Directory Information

Information about installers (name, address, services, certifications, indicative pricing) is obtained from publicly available sources and is presented for informational purposes only.

  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or currency of the information published
  • Prices shown are indicative and may differ from actual quotations
  • Certifications are displayed based on available data and should be verified directly with the installer
  • Reviews and ratings come from third-party platforms (Google, Trustpilot, Checkatrade) and are not verified by us

4. Contact Form

By submitting an enquiry through the contact form, you consent to your details being forwarded to the relevant installer so they can respond to your enquiry. See our Privacy Policy for more information on data processing.

5. Limitation of Liability

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We accept no liability for:

  • The quality, reliability or outcome of services provided by listed installers
  • Errors or omissions in information published about installers or grants
  • Losses or damages arising from the use of information on the Site for hiring decisions
  • Temporary service interruptions due to maintenance or technical issues

We recommend always verifying information directly with the installer and requesting formal quotations before engaging any services.

6. Intellectual Property

Original content on the Site (text, design, logo, code) is the property of the Site owner. Business data is sourced from publicly available information. Trademarks of installers belong to their respective owners.

7. Grant Information

Grant guides are published for informational purposes and may not be up to date. Grant conditions, amounts and deadlines change frequently. Always check official sources (GOV.UK, devolved government websites, local authorities) before applying for any grant or funding scheme.

8. MCS and Certification References

References to MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme), RECC, Trustmark and other certification bodies are for informational purposes. We are not affiliated with these organisations. Verify installer certifications directly via the relevant certification body’s website.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the Site following the publication of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
